General Terms and Conditions

§ 1 Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all business relationships between Edelmet GmbH (hereinafter "Supplier") and the customer. The Supplier is a certified waste disposal company specializing in the purchase and recycling of electronic scrap, precious metals, and non-ferrous metals.

§ 2 Subject of the Contract

The Supplier is a certified waste management company carrying out purchase, processing and recycling of electronic scrap, IT hardware and scrap metals.

§ 3 Conclusion of Contract

The Supplier's offers are non-binding. A contract is concluded through written order confirmation or actual performance of the service.

§ 4 Prices and Payment

Prices agreed at the time of contract conclusion apply. Non-ferrous and precious metals are valued at daily market prices. Payment is made after goods receipt and inspection.

§ 5 Delivery and Pickup

Pickup is arranged by prior agreement. The customer guarantees that delivered materials do not contain hazardous or prohibited substances.

§ 6 Warranty and Liability

The Supplier is liable in accordance with statutory provisions. Liability for slightly negligent breaches of duty is excluded unless essential contractual obligations are affected.

§ 7 Data Deletion

For IT equipment, the Supplier offers certified data deletion in accordance with GDPR requirements. A deletion certificate is issued upon request.

§ 8 Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Place of jurisdiction is Hagen.

§ 9 Severability Clause

Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
